Notch
Run Club

A running club built on two things: 4 weekly and mostly casual social runs, and a race team that trains and competes. Both are free and open to anyone.

All paces.

Our race team competes in the USATF-NE Grand Prix, seven races across the season. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to race with us, whatever your pace. We train hard to set PRs and we celebrate every single teammate who does.

Do I have to use the Notch coach?

No. We offer free coaching and workouts, but keep your own coach if you want to. Most of us find hard sessions as a group lift everybody up. But sometimes you want that person who just gets you. You do you.

Which divisions are you recruiting?

All of them. Whether you race female 18 to 39 or male 70 to 79, we would love to have you. No age or gender requirements.

Do I have to come to practice?

Nope. It will probably help, but there are no attendance requirements. We do love a great turnout.

Do I have to run all seven races?

No. But they are the primary objective for the team, so come to as many as you can.

Can I join if I belong to another club?

Yes. Lots of us are members of several. The only time you must choose is for USATF races, where you can represent one team only.

Are there non alcoholic options?

Yes. The taprooms where our workouts end serve their own NA beer, alongside GUS sodas and water.

What about childcare?

Free, at every Grand Prix race, at no cost to you. Being a parent shouldn’t mean your career is over. Bring the kids, run your best, and they will be there to cheer you on.

How do I learn more?
